Is ZeMott safe?
Most local experiences on ZeMott are not only safe but often life-changing.
That said, your personal safety is always your own responsibility — just like when traveling anywhere in the world.
ZeMott takes safety very seriously and provides systems to support you if problems arise.
🛡️Safety & Reporting
-
How do I report a problem?
-
Please submit all reports in writing.
Written records help us review issues carefully and improve our systems for everyone’s safety.
-
Will my report be shared with others?
-
No. All reports are handled confidentially and are only reviewed by the ZeMott operations team.
However, in cases involving law enforcement or legal action, we may share relevant details with the authorities. If necessary, we may also post an anonymous safety notice to protect other members.
🧍♂️Member-to-Member Issues
-
What should I do if I have a negative experience?
-
If you ever feel unsafe, leave immediately and contact the local police or emergency services.
If you are safe but something felt uncomfortable, try these steps:- Reflect
Consider whether cultural or communication differences might have caused misunderstanding. - Communicate
Politely let the other person know how you felt — they may not realize it. - Create Distance
If the issue cannot be resolved, you have every right to end the interaction. Hosts can ask guests to leave, and guests are free to go. - Write a Review
Leaving an honest, neutral, or negative review is not retaliation — it helps protect other members.
- Reflect
🚨Emergencies
-
What if I’m in immediate danger?
-
If you feel unsafe:
- Leave the area right away.
- Contact local police or emergency services.
- Once you’re in a safe location, report the incident to the ZeMott team with:
- A link to the person’s profile
- A clear description of what happened
- Any police report or related evidence
You can also write a Reference (review) to warn other members quickly.
✍️ References (Reviews)
-
What is a Reference?
-
A Reference is feedback written by one member about another, based on real interaction or experience. Once posted, it cannot be edited or deleted by the other person.
-
Will a negative review get someone removed?
-
No. A single review does not result in removal. Reviews are one of several factors used to assess member behavior. However, if a user clearly violates the Terms of Service, their account may be removed.
