The closest oyster shack to Miyajima opens on March 1, 2026, near the Miyajimaguchi Ferry Terminal. Operated by local producer Teranishiya, the restaurant offers all-you-can-eat premium “Sanbi Oysters,” grilled over charcoal in a relaxed BBQ-style setting. A perfect and convenient stop before or after visiting Miyajima.

The Hiroshima Kanzake Festival 2026 returns to Hiroshima Castle on March 20. Enjoy warm sake from 23 local breweries paired with dishes from 14 Hiroshima restaurants, plus live music and performances. Advance ticket holders can also join a special sake lottery.
